AskOmni is an AI security assistant integrated into the AppOmni platform. Users can ask questions in plain language and receive contextual answers based on their SaaS data. AskOmni is accessible from the top navigation bar across every view in the platform. It opens as a side panel that remains visible during navigation. Users can type questions in plain language or select from suggested prompts. AskOmni supports multiple languages without configuration. Users can ask questions in their preferred language and receive responses in the same language. AskOmni retrieves alert details and translates them into languages including German, Japanese, and Portuguese. The Suggested Prompts tab contains pre-built queries organized by categories including threat detection, findings, identity, discovery, and additional areas. Users can investigate IP addresses by selecting the Investigate IP prompt and pasting an IP address. AskOmni searches across the entire SaaS environment for activity, alerts, and identities associated with the IP address. Results show where the IP has appeared, which services it accessed, associated identities, and recommended actions. The Alerts section displays active threats across connected SaaS environments, ranked by severity and status. Alert detail views include alert type, severity, identity, monitored service, IP address, and the raw event that triggered the alert. Users can click Investigate Alert on any alert to launch AskOmni with alert context pre-loaded. AskOmni analyzes alerts, explains risks, and provides action steps including identity, monitored service, and IP address information. Users can click on identities in alert details to open identity profiles. The Investigate Identity function cross-references access records, activity logs, and alerts across the SaaS environment. AskOmni surfaces identity activity history, permissions, and related alerts. Users can click on monitored services in alert details to view service detail screens. The Investigate Monitored Service function retrieves service profiles, configurations, connected identities, and open observations. AskOmni displays service security posture, recent activity, and risk observations. The Connected Apps section shows third-party applications connected to the SaaS environment, including unapproved or unrecognized apps. The “What is this app” prompt provides security assessments of connected applications. Users select app names and service types from dropdown fields. AskOmni returns summaries describing app functions, permissions, known security risks, and risk assessments.
