By AppOmni
Life at AppOmni revolves around solving cloud security challenges to protect the data of major global organizations. Without our employees, none of this would be possible. Employee Spotlights is a Q&A series dedicated to showcasing the great talent at AppOmni, recognizing the amazing work they do each and every day.
For our third installment, we’re spotlighting Nick Crouch, an International Channel Director whose role is pivotal in cultivating our partner relationships, as well as shaping our international channel and alliances program.
What’s your role at AppOmni?
I build out the channel and alliances program for the international region. This involves identifying and signing the right partners that align with our ideal customer profile (ICP). Key to this process is aligning our partners across executive, sales, marketing, and technical to achieve our targets and goals together.
How did you get started in cybersecurity?
I began my journey in cybersecurity with Exclusive Networks, a large IT security distributor that worked with vendors like Palo Alto and Fortinet, among others. I worked here for 4 years and this gave me a great foundation in the cybersecurity space.
What do you enjoy most about working at AppOmni?
What’s 1 thing on your bucket list?
To get the chance to travel to Asia and explore their culture.
What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
With cybersecurity being one of the only industries that’s constantly changing and evolving, I would’ve told myself to move into cybersecurity earlier. As the industry changes, I’m constantly learning new things. Being in cybersecurity means there are always new opportunities and challenges ahead that I could grow and learn from, which I love.
